We are looking for lay people, consecrated persons, and priests willing to go where no one else wants to go: among persecuted Christians, and specifically to projects like PaX 1: Saint Peter the Apostle. However, conditions on the ground can be so extreme that, at times, it is very difficult or even impossible to send missionaries or volunteers to certain areas; therefore, discernment is serious and prudent. Even so, the OGP supports a large number of missions in different countries and contexts, and there is always a need for hands to proclaim the Gospel, accompany the poor, and sustain the Church where it suffers most.
The journey begins with prayer and discernment, and continues by contacting the OGP through a form where you introduce yourself, your availability, and your abilities. From there, you will be accompanied through a formation and selection process, and if appropriate, you may be sent to missions ad gentes in Pakistan or elsewhere. Missionary life is understood as a path of ongoing conversion: learning to speak of Christ with boldness, to live by Providence, to serve the poorest, and to bear the cross alongside the persecuted Church, wherever you may be assigned.

You may not be able to travel to Pakistan, but you can get many others to pray and help.
Encourage others to adopt families, pray for them, and support them long-term.
