Father Federico Highton, commonly known as Father Federico, is an Argentine priest and missionary devoted to bringing the Gospel to the most remote and spiritually underserved areas of the world. He is a co-founder of the Order of St. Elijah, a missionary order established in 2015 with the motto "Through my God I shall go over a wall," symbolizing their determination to overcome any obstacle to evangelization.

Challenges and Dedication

Father Federico’s missionary work has not been without peril. He has endured imprisonment, faced opposition from local authorities and shamans, and survived multiple bouts of malaria. Despite these hardships, he remains steadfast, driven by his faith and commitment to spreading the Gospel.

Early Life and Education

Inspired by the prophetic spirit of St. Elijah, Father Federico and Father Javier Olivera Ravasi founded the Order of St. Elijah to focus on missionary activities in regions where the Catholic Church's presence is minimal or nonexistent. The order emphasizes cultural engagement and missions “ad gentes” (to the nations), with Father Federico personally undertaking missions in places such as India. He is particularly noted for his evangelization efforts in remote regions like the Himalayas and areas of deep Africa.

Current Role

Father Federico is the director of PaX Project. The PaX Project to save christian slaves in Pakistan. He already organized operations to rescue 80 christian slaves from Pakistan. He is committed to rescue christian slaves until no slave is left.
