The Order Saint Elijah (OSE) is a Society of Apostolic Life of Diocesan Right, approved on February 3, 2016, by the Catholic Church on the Tibetan Plateau.
Founded by Fr. Federico Highton and Fr. Javier Olivera Ravasi, the Order exists to proclaim the Catholic Faith with apostolic zeal and parrhesia in two principal areas:
† AD GENTES MISSIONS
Proclaiming the Gospel where Christ has not yet been known, establishing Christian communities where none yet exist.
† CULTURAL COUNTER-REVOLUTION
We dedicate our efforts to spreading Catholic thought through presence in schools and universities, organizing conferences, and producing editorial and audiovisual content. Our mission is to safeguard and project the richness of the millenary Christian cultural tradition in the contemporary world.
The charism of the Order can be summarized in its declaration of principles:
“Preach and propose the Holy Catholic Faith, with apostolic zeal, parrhesia, fidelity to Divine Revelation, full Marian consecration of life, and trust in Divine Providence, to all men and throughout the world.”
In practice, for PaX, these pillars take concrete form in three principal foundations:
PRAYER
Before we act, we kneel. Every decision related to PaX is born before the Tabernacle: in Eucharistic adoration, in the praying of the Rosary, and in intercession for persecuted Christians. We believe that without prayer, any work becomes merely a human project destined for exhaustion.
PENANCE AND CONVERSION
The Order Saint Elijah understands mission as reparation: offering one’s own life, fatigue, sacrifices, and voluntary poverty for the suffering Church. PaX also seeks to be an act of penance — a concrete response to the sin of indifference toward the persecuted.
CONCRETE CHARITY
PaX’s charity does not remain at the level of words. It takes shape in rescuing slaves, paying unjust debts, building homes, erecting a church, providing dignified employment, and spiritually accompanying families. We want the Gospel to be visible in bricks, in tables set with food, in children attending school, and in Christians who can receive Holy Communion without fear.

The Omnes Gentes Project (OGP) is a Catholic Missionary Platform, one of the most important apostolates of the Order Saint Elijah. Its objective is to prophetically proclaim the Gospel for the first time in places where it has "never been proclaimed before or where the Catholic Church does not exist," through Special Missionary Operations (SMOs).
There are two ways to establish the Church: through a permanent presence or through intensive expeditions.
Today, the Church has no more than one missionary for every 30 million souls. Two thousand years ago, Jesus foretold: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few” (Mt 9:37). Therefore, the only way to maximize resources is to carry out Special Missionary Operations — that is, apostolic expeditions to as many Non-Catholic Zones as possible, in order to preach and baptize the greatest number of souls in the shortest possible time.
These Special Missionary Operations are inspired by the very example of Jesus and of the greatest missionaries: Saint Paul the Apostle and Saint Francis Xavier.
